1.2 Closure/Reclamation <br />The Robinson Tailings Impoundment is permanently closed. Areas not <br />previously capped, covered and reclaimed were partially done in 2007. Work on areas <br />not completed will continue in 2008. In addition to capping and cover on Robinson, <br />approximately 113 acres were treated with various levels of limestone and CaO, fertilizer, <br />biosolids and seeded. The tree transplanting program continued in 2007 with the <br />monitoring report attached. <br />The Arkansas River was restored through the Storke Yard area (approximately <br />1700 feet). Vegetation will be evaluated and enhanced in 2008 as necessary. A map <br />identifying the area reclaimed is attached, while a construction report will be compiled in <br />2008 and forwarded once available. <br />Waste rock continued to be removed from Searle Gulch in 2007 with <br />approximately 20% of the piles to be removed in 2008. A map of areas addressed in 2007 <br />is being included in this report. <br />1.3 Demolition <br />As part of demolition activities during the 2007 season, the following buildings <br />have been demolished: <br />• Building No.17; 2-Crusher <br />• Building No. 18; 5-Crusher <br />• Building No. 5; Moly Warehouse <br />• Building No. 6; Drying & Packing Plant <br />• Building No. 10; P2S5 <br />• No. 3 and 4 Mill Interior Equipment <br />Both scrap metal and copper were again recycled for metal recovery. 2008 <br />demolition activities include the interior of both the 6-Crusher Secondary and the <br />Domestic Water Plant. <br />2.0 Other Activities <br />2.1 Biosolids <br />Production of Class A compost and Class B biosolids at the biosolids facility on the <br />Robinson Tailings Impoundment continued in 2007 as in the past. Class B composting <br />operations were discontinued starting January 1, 2008. Land applications were <br />conducted with dozers and aerial spreaders (truck mounted blower).
