The topic of Alfalfa yield for first cutting was discussed to see if <br />the standard for bond release could be changed. No one could. <br />come up with a better number than what is already the standard <br />in the Permit. So it was decided to leave the standard of: 1.84 <br />tons alfalfa for first cutting stand. It was noted that the written <br />testimony give by Mr. Morgan and Mr. Weimer back in 1998 <br />probably meant a field weight and not an ASTM laboratory air <br />dried weight. The permit will be changed to note that the weight <br />is a field weight. Everyone agreed to this and that was the endb <br />of the topic. <br />Item 8: Production yield for first cutting Irrigate Pasture was discussed <br />1. A brief discuss was make on the Irrigated Pasture (IP) reference <br />area and how it correlate to Bond Release. Everyone in the <br />room was familiar with the Reference Area by Lincoln Street, <br />how it was to be used, the correction factors Jim Boyd had <br />provided.
