Lloyd Property
1. Lloyd family has 24 shares of CCC water dedicated to their land.
2. Even thou Lloyd did not actively manage their land to a high
level of Irrigated Pasture (IP) production, the Division of
Reclamation, Mining and Safety feels the landowner has the
right to decide if they want IP or not, in this case. So the 24
shares of water will be used in a "flood irrigation" setting with
corrugate pipe and furrow strips. An approximate ratio of 1.67
share of water per acre of irrigated grass will be used (15 acres,
more or less) .The same ratio as what WFC will apply to the IP
reference area.
3. The plot for Irrigated Pasture will have the same mixed topsoil as
the rest of the land north of BB Road. However, the land will be
rock picked, leveled and land planed. An irrigation pipeline with
a valve and metering device wilt be run to the edge of the field
4. The remaining reclaimed land found on the Lloyd property will
receive a mixed topsoil, but the surface will not be rock picked.
The litter will be left on the surface to assist in erosion control
plus shrubs and grasses tend to do better in a more rocky
environment. The Post Mine Vegetation and Land Use will be
Dryland Pasture.
5. Correspondence with the Lloyd family will be made during the
Permit Renewal process to verify they truly want IP or would
they be content with an Improved Pasture (Imp-P) Post Mine
Land use.
WFC Properly
1. There was only 12 shares of CCC water that came with the
purchase of this land. WFC does not wish to have this land
returned to an Irrigated Pasture Land Use since WFC will not
