<br />This unit is used for homesite development, livestock <br />grazing, and wildlife habitat. <br />The potential plant community on this unit is mainly <br />western wheatgrass, streambank wheatgrass,, thickspike <br />wheatgrass, alkali bluegrass, bottlebrush squirreltail, <br />inland saltgrass, Wyoming big sagebrush, and black <br />greasewood. The average annual production of air-dry <br />vegetation ranges from 400 to 800 pounds per acre. <br />If this unit is used for homesite development, the main <br />limitations are very slow permeability, flooding, shrink- <br />swell potential, depth to water table, excessive salts, and <br />low strength. <br />This map unit is in capability subclass VIIs. It is in <br />the Alkaline Slopes #295 range site. <br />
