It formed in alluvium. The surface layer <br />is dart; grayish brown sandy loam, loam, or clay loam 2 tq'5 <br />inches thick. The underlying material is gray stratified <br />sand, loamy sand, sandy loam, loam, clay loam, or clay. In <br />some places sand or extremeI-y gravelly sand is at a depth of <br />10 to 60 inches. <br />Permeability of the Fluvaquents soil is moderate to <br />rapid. Available water- capacity is low to high. Effective <br />rout i rig depth is 60 i riches or more for- water-to I erant. p I ants <br />and 10 to 20 inches for plants sensitive to a high water <br />table. Runoff is slow or ponded, and the hazard of water- <br />erosion is slight. The hazard of soils blowing is slight. <br />A high water- table is at or near the surface during the <br />-,nrina and eariv summer. In some areas the water- table <br />remains above a depth of 1 foot throughout the year while in <br />other areas the water table is at a depth of 1 to 3 feet <br />during late summer, fall, and winter.
