Here's what remains to be done
(see attached.memos from Janet & Byron):
1. Water from Pond 4 may be seeping out below the pond's embankment and possibly
contributing to a small slump downhill. Byron has suggested that the base of the primary
riser be grouted, that the pond be lined with bentonite, that the exit low-flow discharge plastic
tube be replaced with a metal pipe, and that the new metal exit pipe be extended to the base of
the slope.
2. A hairpin turn in Pit 4's access road needs reinforcement or repair.
3. A ditch along the access road to Pit 2/3 Deeds riprap and repair.
4. Spring water flow across the access road to Pit 2/3 needs managing (water bars, etc.).
I've attached copies of some recent inspection reports for Grassy Gap. These provide some
additional detail that may be useful.
If you have any questions, see me or Janet.
Cc: Janet Binns
Byron.
