11 Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plan <br />The plans and specifications are included in Appendices A and B, respectively. The plans and <br />specifications include the details of the proposed modifications. On-site construction observation <br />' will be undertaken by an independent observer to ensure that the details included in the plans and <br />specifications are followed. <br />' During construction, the previously installed piezometers will be measured every three (3) working <br />days to ensure that piezometric levels do not increase above expected levels due to the placement of <br />t fill materials. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the drains can be ascertained during construction. <br />Long-term monitoring will consist of reading the installed piezometers at least four (4) times per <br />year.
