' B. CONTRACTOR shall submit for proof of specification compliance shop drawings for the slide <br />gate and operator. <br />' C. CONTRACTOR shall submit for proof of specification compliance shop drawing for steel trash <br />rack showing dimensions and method of attachment to structure. <br />1.04 TESTING BY COMPANY <br />' A. CONTRACTOR shall demonstrate to COMPANY that the slide gate is operable through three <br />complete cycles of operation without difficulty (e.g., binding, seizing, excessive stem deflection, <br />etc.). <br />' B. Up to one year after the installation of the sluice gate and when conditions permit, COMPANY <br />shall perform a field leakage test on the sluice gate with the reservoir filled. COMPANY shall <br />notify CONTRACTOR in sufficient time to enable a representative to observe the test. Test shall <br />' be conducted in accordance with Section 6.8 of AWWA C501 Cast-iron Sluice Gates. <br />PART 2: PRODUCTS <br />2.01 REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE <br />A. Reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) used for the 24" diameter outlet pipe shall meet the requirements <br />of subsection 706.02 of the CDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. <br />RCP shall be Class V. <br />' B. Gaskets shall meet the requirements of subsection 705.03 of the CDOT Standard Specifications <br />for Road and Bridge Construction. <br />' 2.02 PRECAST CONCRETE UNTTS <br />A. Precast concrete manhole base sections, riser sections and grade rings shall meet the requirements <br />' of Section 604 of the CDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. <br />2.03 MANHOLE LADDER <br />A. Manhole ladder shall be galvanized steel ladder with cage that conforms to the <br />requirements of MSHA regulation, 30 CFR § 56.11026. <br />2.04 WATERTIGHT RUBBER BOOT <br />A. Watertight rubber boot shall be G3 Boot System by A-Lok, or approved equal. <br />2.05 TRASH RACK <br />A. Trash rack shall be fabricated as shown on the Drawings using 1-inch diameter bars. <br />B.
