CONTRACTOR shall place fill on the prepared surface in lifts not exceeding <br />12 inches in compacted thickness and shall compact the fill with a sheepsfoot <br />roller. <br />J. DOWNSTREAM EARTH BUTTRESS GENERAL FILL <br />1. CONTRACTOR shall place fill on the prepared surface in lifts not exceeding <br />12 inches in compacted thickness and shall compact the fill with a sheepsfoot <br />roller. <br />K. DOWNSTREAM DRAINAGE BLANKET <br />1. CONTRACTOR shall place fill on the prepared surface in lifts not exceeding <br />18 inches in compacted thickness and shall compact the fill with asmooth-drum <br />vibratory roller. <br />L. TRENCH DRAIN FILTER AGGREGATE <br />' 1. CONTRACTOR shall place fill on the prepared surface in lifts not exceeding <br />12 inches in compacted thickness and shall compact the fill with the backhoe <br />bucket using a minimum of four (4) tamps. <br />' M. INTERCEPTOR TRENCH FILTER AGGREGATE <br />' 1. CONTRACTOR shall place fill on the prepared surface in lifts not exceeding <br />12 inches in compacted thickness and shall compact the fill with the backhoe <br />bucket using a minimum of four (4) tamps. <br />N. CLAY CAP <br />1. CONTRACTOR shall place fill on the prepared surface in lifts not exceeding <br />12 inches in compacted thickness. <br />3.09 DISPOSAL OF EXCAVATED SOIL <br />A. Excess soil shall be disposed at onsite location(s) approved by the COMPANY. This <br />material maybe used for random topsoil at the approval of the COMPANY. <br />B. All excavated materials not incorporated into the construction shall be disposed of in the <br />designated spoil areas as directed by COMPANY or COMPANY'S Representative. All <br />spoil areas used by CONTRACTOR shall be appropriately graded so as to provide <br />proper drainage and left in a neat condition. All excavated material remains the <br />property of COMPANY. <br />02300-11 <br />
