SECTION 01311 ' PROJECT COORDINATION ' 1.01 COORDINATION A. CONTRACTOR shall be completely responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Work and for ' assuring that the Work of the various Sections of the Specifications is completed in an orderly sequence incorporating all interdependent elements, whether specifically identified or not. 1.02 CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE AND REPORTS A. With the bid, CONTRACTOR shall submit aschedule/timeline with the various construction events showing the time of performance for each particulaz project. Also with the bid, CONTRACTOR shall submit a listing of proposed construction equipment to be used during the project. The list shall show the type, number, and volume capacity of the equipment, along with a schedule showing the average monthly material movement that this equipment will achieve for the construction schedule. A listing ofpre-arranged sub-contractors shall be submitted with the bid. CONTRACTOR shall also submit with the bid a resume or statement of qualifications that demonstrates the bidders' ability to complete projects of this magnitude. B. Prior to construction, CONTRACTOR shall submit to COMPANY a Work Plan as detailed in Section 01100 of the Specifications. C. During construction, CONTRACTOR shall submit weekly progress reports to COMPANY, which should consist of daily tallies of load counts loose volume and haul distance for each type of material hauled and placed, and any other estimates of major units of Work including miscellaneous hourly Work. D. Work under the Agreement shall be scheduled and performed in such a manner as to result in the least possible disruption and delay. CONTRACTOR shall submit to COMPANY and ENGINEER a construction schedule covering the entire project acknowledging completion dates outlined at the Pre-Construction Conference. E. At the Pre-Construction Conference CONTRACTOR shall furnish to COMPANY and ENGINEER a detailed schedule for orderly completion of the Work, showing his planned sequences of operation, and the dates for commencement and completion of all important features of the Work. ' 1. The schedule shall be comprehensive, covering both activities at the site of the Work and off-site activities such as design procurement, and fabrication. The schedule shall be orderly and realistic, and shall be revised as necessary to meet this requirement. ' CONTRACTOR shall promptly advise COMPANY and ENGINEER of any occurrence requiring substantial revision of the schedule and shall furnish a revised schedule within two (2) calendaz days of such occurrence. ' 2. The detailed schedule and each revision thereof shall be subject to approval by ENGINEER for conformity with the requirements of this Section. CONTRACTOR shall assist ' ENGINEER in reviewing and evaluating each schedule furnished. Disapproved schedules 01311-1
