h. equipment mobilization and demobilization; usage of laydown and storage areas;
maintenance of laydown and storage azeas; restoration of damage to any laydown
and storage areas; site cleanup during and upon completion of the Work; preparing
and transmitting the required submittals; identifying and locating utilities as
necessary for the Work
i. obtaining all permits required of CONTRACTOR (those permits not provided by
others)
control of water and dewatering and filling of the depression uphill of the
borrow area
k. all other incidental items not specifically paid for but included in the total scope of
the Work.
B. Clearing, Grubbing, Stripping, and Stockpiling
Method of Measurement: Clearing, Grubbing, and Stripping will be measured by the
horizontal area in acres (Acres) as determined based on the surveys performed by
COMPANY or COMPANY'S Representative.
Basis of Payment: CONTRACTOR will be paid for furnishing all labor, equipment, and
materials and performing all operations necessary to salvage and stockpile existing topsoil,
salvage and stockpile vegetation and brush for restoration, and clear all deleterious
nonspecified materials for proper performance of the Work for those areas outside the
existing dam footprint where the Work is to be constructed on the basis of a unit price per
acre staked, cleazed, grubbed and stripped to the nearest tenth of an acre, all in accordance
with the Drawings and Specifications. No payment will be made for areas which have
been previously cleared.
C. Borrow Material Source Development
Method of Measurement: Borrow Material Source Development will be measured by the
cubic yard as determined based on the surveys performed by COMPANY or
COMPANY's Representative.
2. Basis of Payment: CONTRACTOR will be paid for furnishing all labor, equipment, and
materials and performing all operations necessary to develop the borrow material source,
stockpile the material, and develop the material to be in accordance with the requirements
of the Specifications on the basis of a cubic yard as existing in-place as determined based
by surveys of the borrow area, all in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. No
payment will be made for materials otherwise excavated and salvaged as borrow.
D. Riprap Material Source Development
1. Method of Measurement: Riprap Material Source Development will be measured by the
cubic yard as determined based by the surveys performed by COMPANY or
COMPANY'S Representative.
2. Basis of Payment: CONTRACTOR will be paid for furnishing all labor, equipment, and
materials and performing all operations necessary to develop the borrow riprap source,
