DENISON MINES (USA) CORPORATION <br />2007 ANNUAL REPORT <br />Topaz Mine Permit M-1980-055 HR <br />Operations are currently underway at the Topaz Mine. In December of 2006, International <br />Uranium (USA) Corporation (the "Operator") formally changed it's name to Denison Mines <br />(USA) Corp. ("Denison") and succession of operators forms where submitted to the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety (the "Division"), on May 29, 2007. <br />On May 7, 2007 a technical revision to the Topaz Mine permit was submitted to the Division for <br />a new seed mix as approved by the US Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management <br />(BLM) and San Miguel County. <br />A conversion application from a 110 Hard Rock/Metal Mining permit to a l 12 Hard Rock/Metal <br />Mining permit was submitted to the Division on May 18, 2007 and was approved by the Division <br />on October 24, 2007. This conversion was for the expansion of the Waste Rock Area at the <br />Topaz Mine and the addition of five new vent holes and access roads to the Topaz permit. This <br />proposed expansion increases the Topaz Mine disturbed area by 12.2 acres for a total disturbance <br />of 17.8 acres of the approved 30.0 acres. This expanded area increased the reclamation surety <br />bond from $38,433 to $81,522 and a change rider for this bond increase was submitted to the <br />Division following approval of the conversion application. <br />A Plan of Operations (POO) was submitted to the San Juan Field Office of the BLM on Apri16`~, <br />2007 to incorporate operations at the Topaz Mine with the existing POOs for the Sunday, St. <br />Jude, Carnation (covered under the Sunday POO), and West Sunday POO. This plan and <br />associated environmental assessments are currently under review with the BLM. <br />One of the approved vent holes has been installed at the Topaz Mine for the protection of miner <br />health and safety; however, no other activities have taken place as the operator is awaiting BLM <br />approval. In addition, the waste rock area was expanded to the north. Updated site maps were <br />provided with the conversion application, and no new mapping is provided with this annual <br />report. <br />In 2006, approximately 7,239 tons of ore were produced from the Topaz Mine and shipped to the <br />White Mesa Mill, near Blanding, Utah. No concurrent reclamation activities have taken place at <br />
