Cuality Control Summary for Lot D7D190399
Method 8081A . Oraanochlorine Pesticide Analvsis by GC
The method required MS/MSD could not be performed for this batch, due to insufficient sample
volume submitted. The acceptable LCS/LCSD analyte recoveries provide evidence that the
laboratory is performing the method within acceptable guidelines.
The Continuing Calibration Verification (CCV) standard(s) associated with the samples
exhibited %Difference (%D) values out of range, bias. low, for endrin, 4,4'-DDT, endrin aldehyde
methoxychlor and the surrogate decachlorobiphenyl. The overall mean %D is within control
limits; therefore, method criteria have been met and corrective action is deemed unnecessary.
Where the RPD between the primary and confirmation columns exceeded 40% the lower of the
two values has been reported, as positive matrix interference is evident. The results in the
analytical report have been flagged with "COL".
No other anomalies were encountered.
Method 8151 A. Chlorinated Herbicide Analvsis by GC
The method required MS/MSD could not be performed for this batch, due to insufficient sample
volume submitted. The acceptable LCS analyte recoveries provide evidence that the laboratory
is.performing the method within acceptable guidelines.
The Continuing Calibration Verification (CCV) standard(s) associated with the samples
exhibited %Difference (%D) values out of range, bias low, decachlorobiphenyl, MCPP, MCPA,
2,4-D and 2,4-DB. The overall mean %D is within control limits; therefore, method criteria have
been met and corrective action is deemed unnecessary.
No other anomalies were encountered
Method SW846 6010B/7470A Total Metals Analvsis
The total arsenic MS/MSD performed on sample CRMW06 were in control.
Laboratory generated MS/MSD analysis data have been provided. The MS/MSD for mercury
exhibited spike compound recoveries outside the QC limits. The acceptable LCS analysis data
indicated that the analytical system was operating within control; therefore, corrective action is
deemed unnecessary.
No other anomalies were encountered.
Method MCAWW 365.3. Total Phosphorus Analvsis
A low level of total phosphorus is present in the method blank associated with QC batch
7117534. Because the concentration in the method blank is not present at a level greater than
the reporting limit, corrective action is deemed unnecessary. Associated results in the
analytical report have been flagged with a "J". Usability of the sample data is not compromised.
No other anomalies were encountered.
•
STL Denver
