West Elk Mine 2006 Annual Hydrology Report 23 <br />• 3.2.5.3 Sprite WCC-24 <br />Spring WCC-24 is a perennial spring located in a small unnamed tributary on the south side of Dry <br />Fork (Map 2). It is located west of the SOD area that will be developed between years 2009 to <br />2013. The source of this spring is not known. Baseline monitoring of Spring WCC-24 began in <br />the spring of 2006 and included measuring flow, collecting field water quality data, and collecting <br />samples for laboratory water quality analyses from May through October 2006 (CDMG, 2006). <br />Routine monitoring at this location will commence in WY 2007. <br />3.2.5.4 Spring J-2 <br />Spring J-2 is located in Lick Creek which is tributary to Minnesota Creek (Map 2). It is located <br />south of the SOD area that will be developed between 2014 and 2018. The source of this spring <br />appears to issue from colluvium. Baseline monitoring of Spring J-2 began in the spring of 2006 <br />and included measuring flow, collecting field water quality data, and collecting samples for <br />laboratory water quality analyses from May through October 2006 (CDMG, 2006) Routine <br />monitoring at this location will commence in WY 2007. <br />3.2.5.5 Wiring J-7 <br />Spring J-7 is located in Poison Gulch which is tributary to Dry Fork (Map 2). It is within the SOD <br />area that is scheduled for development between years 2009 and 2013. The source of this spring <br />appears to issue from alluvium. Baseline monitoring of Spring J-7 began in the spring of 2006 and <br />included measuring flow, collecting field water quality data, and collecting samples for laboratory <br />water quality analyses from May through October 2006 (CDMG, 2006).
