Please sefer to attachmern A.
Mining operations are as indicated in attachment B. The crusher and processing
operation remains in this area on top of deposits yet to be mined.
Temputary wetlands continue to flourish in the southeast portion of the property as
shown. Expansion of these wetlands has occurred to the west Portiotrs of these wetlands
may remain permanent dependent upon post mining water levels.
Backfilling has occurred on the north, east, and south sides of the previous mined area.
Prior to backfilting, a trench was excavated into shale and backfilled with clay type
overbwden. Subsequent backfil! has been placed in compacted layers to create a barrier
to prevent water fmm infiltrating into the pit in order to reduce the efrect, if any, on
adjoining water table. It has reduced ow necessary pumping considerably. These sloped
areas have been topsoiled and reseeded.
2(101 and futwe mining will continue west of Phase lA. Based on market conditions and
remaining material yet to be cleaned up when the processing operation is moved into this
area; area disturbed will be approximately five acres.
Sincerely,
'^'-
Dan Kehn
Encloswes
6550 So.
