The Open Pit (1) currently affects approximately 222 <br /> acres, but will eventually affect a total of 405 acres. Directly <br /> associated with the Open Pit operations are the Cirque Dump (2) <br /> and McNulty Dump (6) , which have respective acreages of 66 and 20 <br /> acres at this time. The Old Tailing Pond (A) reclamation project <br /> is also directly associated with the Open Pit operations. <br /> The Ceresco South Slope (3) disturbance was created by <br /> construction of access roads to the Open Pit and will not increase <br /> from its present acreage of " 66 acres. Topsoil stripped from the <br /> proposed McNulty Dump is stored in McNulty Topsoil Stockpile <br /> No. 1 (7) . <br /> Surface disturbances associated with underground mining <br /> are within the Storke Level. The Storke Level and Climax Complex <br /> . (5) encompasses 465 acres within which are scattered reclaimed <br /> sites. <br /> Corridors for tailing delivery lines (8 and 11) , mill- <br /> water return lines (10, 13 and 29) and interceptor canal systems <br /> (12 , 14 26 , 28, 30, 36 , and 41) account for approximately 176 <br /> acres. Areas (18) and (19) .are landscape disturbances associated <br /> with the construction of the Mayflower Millwater Return Line and <br /> the East Tailing Delivery Line, and affect a total of five acres. <br /> Area (24) was disturbed during construction of the Clinton <br /> Reservoir Dam. Tenmile Flume House (38) area affects about one- <br /> half acre at the northern property line on the Tenmile Creek. <br /> Major tailing. deposition sites (15, 16 , 17 , 22 , 23, 32 , <br /> and 33) are all active and presently affect approximately 1, 385 <br /> 6-4 <br />
