Fall 2007 Subsidence and Geologic Field Observations <br />Box Canyon, Apache Rocks, and South of Divide Mining Areas <br />• <br />Mountain Coal Company personnel report that construction activities on the dam and lotiver <br />landslide area are being done to accomplish the following three basic tasks (Figure 38): <br />I . Excavate, buttress, and armor Monument Dam. <br />?. Relocate the drain valve from the do«~nstrcam tae of the dam to the upstream toe of the <br />dam. <br />3.
