When requested in «reiting,
the Division may approve an alternative analytical procedure or any significant modifrcation to an approved procedure.
When the most sensitive analytical method which complies with this part, has a detection limit greater than or equal to the
permit limit, the pernuttee shall report "less than (the detectable limit)," as appropriate. Such reports shall not be considered
as violations of the pemvt limit. The present lowest method detection iirnits for specific parameters (which have limitations
that are, in some cases, less than or equal to the detection limit} are as follows:
Effluent Characteristic Method Detec#ion Limits, us/I
Arsenic 10
Cadmiiun 0.5
Chromium 10
Copper 5
Iron 100
bead 5
Manganese 600
Mercury 0.003
Nickel 20
Selenium 10
Zinc 10
These limits apply to the total recoverable or the potentially dissolved fraction of metals.
