F
February 5, 1998
Richard Mills
Twentymile Coal Company
29515 Routt County Road 27
Oak Creek, Colorado 80467
RE: Camilletti And Sons Inc. Ranch Operations
Dear Mr. Mills:
On behalf of Camilletti and Sons, I am familiar with Twentymile's proposed mining operation in sections
I 0 rind 15 of TSN, R86W and have reviewed the plans for impacts to our ranching operation. The property
that we own in these sections along Fish Creek is not flood irrigated nor does it have the potential to be
flood irrigated due to the narrowness of the valley. The area is undeveloped rangeland, and no special
productive value is affixed to this land.
[n and around Camilletti and Sons controls approximately acres of land, and the lands in
sections 10 and 15 are incorporated into the ranch. These lands have been in our control for
years. During this period of time, approximately % of the production for the ranch (if you can
state less than 1% it would be good) came from this area. This is not considered to be significant to the
economic viability of the ranch.
From our perspective there is no potential to develop this area to increase its productivity due to the
narrowness of the areas. (t is not feasible to construct any flood irrigation system for this area. [t will
continue to be managed as in the past, undeveloped rangeland.
If you would like to meet to further discuss this letter please give me a call.
Sincerely,
Frank Camilletti
President
