Topaoiled and Yulch Planted <br />No new areas were topaoiled and reseeded with stubble <br />mulch during the yeaz. <br />5. Previously Reclaimed Area <br />Prior to 1987, a total of 109.09 acres had been <br />revegetated with perennials. Please note that this <br />excludes the pre-1981 reclamation which was <br />rediaturbed by Pit No. 1 mining activities. In <br />addition, all topsoil stockpiles, sedimentation ponds <br />and ditches have been revegetated with perennial <br />grasses or annuals ae appropriate. Drainage sad Sediment Control Facilities <br />Sedimentation Poad G and Drainage Ditch G-1 were con- <br />structed during late 1986 and eazly 1987. These <br />facilities will control disturbed area drainage from <br />the south end of the planned Pit No. 2 mining area. <br />These two drainage control facilities cover 3.58 acres <br />bringing the total azea affected by drainage and sedi- <br />ment control facilities to 21.90 acres in the Kerr <br />Yine Area. This total includes seven sedimentation <br />ponds covering 16.71 acres and eight drainage ditches <br />covering 5.19 acres.
