During Januazy, the West Pit water treatment plant operated efficiently dischazging a
total of 7,776,100 gallons (23.87 acre-feet) of water to Rito Seco Creek and a total of
412,400 gallons (1.27 acre-feet) of water was transferred from the water treatment plant
to the tailing impoundment. Seepage along Rito Seco Creek remained dry during the
month. The monthly precipitation accumulation for January was 0.20 inches, with the
lazgest accumulation occurring on January 215 (0.08").
