BOX 266 <br />MOMS VISTA, CO 81144 <br />Pg. 2 <br />Annual Report and Map permit N M-80-201 <br />MONTE VISTA <br />8523732 <br />Material used for backfilling operations was pushed by dozers <br />from a high-area that had been left years ago in the original pit <br />in the southwest corner (refer to map). <br />We estimated that approximately 3 to 4000 cubic yards of <br />material was used in this initial back filling operation. The area <br />immediately adjacent to this back fill area was graded, topsoiled, <br />and seeded. (2 acres) <br />The remainder of back filling the deep area will be completed <br />by fall 1991, along with grading, topsoiling, and seeding almost <br />the entire bottom of the existing pit. (4+ acres) <br />Summary and Future Plans <br />We feel we have done more reclamation in the past 3 years than <br />has been accomplished since the pit was started. <br />We plan to have the entire bottom and north and west sides <br />completely reclaimed by next spring - 1992. <br />Since we have now owned this property for 2 years, we might <br />pursue converting this 710 permit to a regular permit sometime in <br />the near future, to allow for possible future growth. <br />Thank you, <br />~~.~ <br />`~%~ <br />Thomas G.
