The Financial warranty for this
operation is $30,576.34, the permitted area is 606.96 ac. ± and the pit
is divided into 18 Reclamation Phases. Stages 1 thru 5 cover an alluvial
deposit and run along the river, Stages A thru H (8) are a terrace
deposit above the river and Stages V thru Z (5) are part of the Plant
Site or areas mined before the law or are currently being backfilled as
part of the reclamation plan.
As required in Rule 6.7 the mine permit sign has been installed at
the entrance to the pit and the boundary has been outlined with red toped
posts to delineate the affected lands.
Please refer to the maps attached for location of the areas
discussed in this report. We have used excerpts from the large map. Map
#1 shows the area disturbed in Stage 1 and Map #2 shows the area where
mining operation are currently taking place in Stages 2 and D. These
maps do not show the entire permit area, only the areas south of the
river that are affected by the operation at this time.
We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report require-
ments as outlined in Rule 6 of the Rules and Regulations, revised JULY,
1994.
(1) Mining ended in Stage 1 this year and it resumed in Stage B and
continued in Stages 2 & D as approved, on the areas previously
stripped (pink). Mining in Stage D continued on 1.11 ac. ±; in
