<br /> <br />Recommended Seed Mix <br />South Park Ranger District <br />Pike National Forest <br />Following completing of drilling, exploration or mining in an area, the <br />Operator shall seed and fetilize (if necessary) exposed soils. A11 areas shall <br />be recontoured to provide satisfactory control of soil movement. Leave soils in <br />a roughened condition so as to hold moisture. Mulching of seeded areas may be <br />necessary and will be determined by the Forest Officer. <br />Seed shall be applied at the rate of 13 lbs. per acre. When fertilizer and seed <br />are applied in seperate operations, the second operation shall be completed <br />within 72 hours of the first.
