~.~-
Reclamation Accomplished to Date:
Both Sites A and B were reclaimed. The pits were filled, re-contoured, and topsoil re-
positioned. Both were reseeded in late fall. Silt fences were set up during operations and
will remain below each site along with berms to prevent erosion while the grass is re-
established,
Some small, hand-dug pits neaz both sites were also reclaimed and reseeded.
A tota10.44 acre has been excavated and reclaimed.
Preceding Yeaz, 2005 Reclamation:
None. 2006 was the first yeaz of operation.
Proposed 2007 Operations:
Operations will be in conjunction with operations on Glacier Peak Mining claims and
Crystaljack mining claims between early May and extend through eazly August and be
conducted primarily using a John Deer 992 and/or 690 track hoe. Excavations will be
opened at Sites C, D, and E on the Blue Streak No. 2. If significant mineralization is
encountered, one or more of these sites will remain open for future production. If any
site remains open over winter, it will be partially refilled, bermed and temporarily
reseeded to prevent erosion and to make it safe. If no significant mineralization is found,
any affected sites will be reclaimed. L`time permits, Site I may be opened on the Blue
Streak No. 1.
Site visits, including mineral extraction, reclamation, and claim maintenance will be
continued throughout the season.
Anticipated 2007 Disturbances:
Approximately 0.75 acre total will be newly disturbed on Sites C, E, D and possibly, I. If
any site remains open over winter it will be made safe and temporarily reclaimed.
Proposed 2007 Reclamation:
All test pits and any excavations opened during 2007 will be filled, re-contoured, and
reseeded at the close of the season unless significant mineralization is found. In that
case, whichever site produces will remain open and be worked during the 2008 season.
In May 2007, 50 mixed Douglas fir and ponderosa pines were planted on Sites A and B
that were reclaimed last fall, 2006.
Additionally, a small number of mixed shrubs, approximately 50, meadow rose, wax
currant, and mountain mahogany were also planted.
