MINED LAND RECLAMATION BOARD 110(2) ANNUAL REPORT <br />For Season 2006 <br />COLORADO CALUMET COMPANY INCORPORATED <br />PERMIT NO. M-2006-034 <br />Submitted: 6 June 2007 <br />Summary: <br />Colorado Calumet Company Inc. operated mechanized equipment on the Blue Streak No. <br />2 mining claim from 25 Sep through 9 Oct 2006 in Teller County, Colorado to produce <br />amazonite, smoky quartz, fluorite and other related pegmatite minerals. A John Deere <br />992 track hoe was used. Exploration occurred at two sites, Site A and Site B. Both sites <br />were refilled, re-contoured, and reseeded at completion of work. <br />Pernut Summary: <br />This is a new operation. Colorado Calumet Company Ina received a mining pernut from <br />the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety on 30 June 2006: M-2006-034 <br />which covers 5.33 acres on the Blue Streak No. 1, Blue Streak No. 2, Stealth No. 1, and <br />Tree Root Extension claims on 14 dig sites. An inspection of the sites was made by Chris <br />Rowe on 24 May 2006. An Environmental Assessment of this mining area was <br />completed and approved by the U.S.F.S. in June 2006 for "Dorris Mining" and includes <br />the four claims permitted under this permit. A plan of operations was submitted to the <br />U.S.F.S. and approved 16 August 2006. A total of $17,693 in bonds was set aside with <br />the state of Colorado for reclamation. Additionally, a combined bond for $11,190 is set <br />aside with the U.S.F.S. for reclamation of roads. A Teller County Conditional Use <br />Permit was approved 17 August 2006 through resolution no. 08-10-06[34]. <br />Map Depictinu Operations: <br />Attached is a map which depicts current operations. The fourteen permitted excavation <br />sites aze labeled by letters A through N and are indicated by dashed lines, either <br />rectangular or circulaz, on the map. An orange azea within a pemritted site indicates an <br />open excavation where work will resume during next season. Presently there aze no open <br />sites. Green shaded areas aze excavations that have been refilled, re-contoured and <br />reseeded. Blue shaded areas would indicate reclamation over 80 percent recovered. No <br />sites are 80 percent recovered at this time. <br />Current Disturbances (2006): <br />An area of 0.44 acre total was newly disturbed during 2006 operations. Site A was <br />excavated and closed; total disturbance of 0.28 acre. Site B was excavated and closed; <br />total disturbance of 0.16 acre. <br />
