We are also submitting a revised Attachment A
of Appendix A.
2b) We will be submitting a minor revision containing a corrected PAP Table II.C-8.
2c) (Please note this comment is shown as 2) on the second page of your letter). As noted in
2a above, we are submitting a revised AHR Table 2-1.
3) There are likely a number of factors involved in the decline in the TDS at QAL-5. Among
them may be lack of flows down Scullion Gulch in recent years that could bring new salts
into the alluvium and the changing alluvial gradients presented by the Kenney Reservoir.
4) Those monitoring holes with only 3 readings were inaccessible at the time the readings were
being taken. See Appendix C.
5) It appears that the sentence that begins at the bottom of page II.C-82 and continues onto
page II.C-83 of the mine permit describes this impact. (Mine workings may provide drains
that will tend to lower the groundwater table very locally).
Swle # 305
405 Ulban Sireel
lakewood, Colorado 80228
Telephone 303/986-9626
Telecopier 303/986-8147
