Substitute Supply Plan for the
1 r FvPrist ApQrPpat~narafinn
STATEMENT OF TEMPORARY SUBSTITUTE SUPPLY PLAN
The groundwater exposed as a result of the proposed MCR operation is water that is tributary to
the Blue River. Depletions to this source will be the result of evaporation from exposed
groundwater, operational losses from retainage in the aggregate, and dust control occurring
during the fvst yeaz with similaz losses, concrete batching, and truck washing occurring during
the second yeaz. The resulting annual depletion to the Blue River below the operation is
estimated to be 13.96 acre-feet the first yeaz and 44.36 acre-feet the second year.
L.G. Everist will dry up a total of 85.5 acres of historically irrigated lands for purposes of
transferring the consumptive use credits of 138.5 acre-feet to meet out-of-priority depletions to
the Blue River. In addition, L.G. Everist will use its available 3.9 acre-feet of water from Green
Mountain Reservoir and 4.0 acre-feet of water from Dillon Reservoir to meet non-irrigation
season depletions. Finally, L.G. Everist will construct an Augmentation Pond during the first
two yeazs of operation to replace non-irrigation season depletions not covered by Green
Mountain Reservoir or Dillon Reservoir.
Administration
Adequate accounting will be provided on a monthly basis, or as otherwise required, to the
Division Engineer and Water Commissioner, and will show both the estimated depletions and the
amount of replacement water which will be provided. Table 9 of this report is a blank
accounting form which will be used for accounting submittals.
Well Per-nit
Attachment 8 is a gravel pit well permit application which is submitted as part of this substitute
supply plan.
