The rate of production for 1986 was 28,000 tons per day on a 21-day- <br />pet-month schedule. Our work force at the end of December 1986 was 687 with <br />an average of 765 per month for the year. <br />Reclamation proceeded as described in the Timetable (Section 5;~ and the <br />Reclamation Plan (Section 9). Species planted during 1986 were tho;;e orig- <br />inally listed in the reclamation plan and appropriate additions mentioned in <br />previous annual reports. Three hundred pounds of the grass seed mi:: were <br />broadcast on some construction and repair disturbances. Precipitation was <br />average throughout the growing season and revegetated areas respondf~d <br />accordingly. <br />RECLAMATION AREA ACTIVITIES <br />Reclamation of disturbances as they occur and efforts to minimize <br />disturbance by planning and reduction of unnecessary uses continue '.o be our <br />aim. Treatment in the following described areas demonstrates our adherence <br />to this guideline. <br />Area 4 <br />Modification and improvement of drainage along the railroad riht-of-way <br />created disturbances which were reseeded. <br />
