The Financial Warranty for
this operation is $30,576.34, the permitted area is 606.96 ac. ±
and the pit is divided into 18 Reclamation Phases. Stages 1 thru
5 cover an alluvial deposit and run along the river, Stages A thru
H (8) are a terrace deposit above the river and Stages V thru Z (5)
are part of the Plant Site or areas mined before the law or are
currently being backfilled as part of the reclamation plan.
As required in Rule 6.7 the mine permit sign has been
installed at the entrance to the pit and the boundary has been
outlined with red toped posts to delineate the affected lands.
Please refer to the attached maps for location of the areas
discussed in this report. we have used excerpts from the large map
originally part of the original application to save space and make
it easier to review the annual report. Map #1 shows the area
disturbed in Stage 1 on the western part of the site and Map #2
shows the area where mining is currently taking place in Stages 2
and D on the eastern part of the site. These maps do not show the
entire permit area, only the areas south of the river that are
affected by the operation at this time.
