Graphic details of <br />the 400 series piezometer installations are presented as Plate 29 <br />of the Appendix. <br />After the successful installation of piezometer wells the <br />various individual PVC tubes were cut to a height approximately 3- <br />feet above the surrounding ground surface. Each series ^` <br />piezometers were cut at slightly different heights so that tl:e <br />lowest and highest tube corresponds to the respective deepest and <br />shallowest tip depth. An eighth-inch diameter vent hole was <br />drilled near the top of each of the PVC tubes and the tubes were <br />capped. Each series of PVC tubes were then secured inside 5-foot <br />lcng, 8-inch diameter steel casing pipes filled with cement grout. <br />13 <br />
