Page 3.
5. Type and Approximate Quantity of Fertilizers, Organic Material or Soil
Conditioners Used and Location of Use.
Sewer sludge from the Fremont Sanitation District is being spread on the
east edge of Cuts 1 and 2.
6. Appraisal of Results of Reclamation Efforts.
All areas show improvement, probably due to above average moisture. There
was more activity in reclamation due to availability of topsoil from Cut 6,
and fertilizer in the form of sewage sludge from the Fremont Sanitation
District.
7. Estimates and Location and Number of Acres to be Affected in the Coming
Year
No new disturbance is scheduled for the 1987-1988 year.
8. The effective date of information provided above, and as out-lined on the
map is October 1, 1987.
9. The dust disposal system as discussed last year had to be modified in the
interest of personnel and equipment safety. The high bank began to slough
near the bottom thus increasing angle of repose of the remaining bank caus-
ing an unstable dumping area. Present practice is to dump approximately
6 feet of dust, then cover it with overburden to form a stable dump site.
U C .
Paul Thomsen, Sr. Mining Engineer
Ray Patterson
