•
r 1
LJ

Review of Table 16 shows that Site 6 displays a MgC a-504 type water. The annual average
TDS value of 3533 mg/l for 1994 is the highest yet observed.
Surface Veter Site SY-52-10. The site monitors Cow Camp Creek et its confluence with Fish
Creek. It is monitored May through September on a monthly basis. This site flows less
often than [he upper Cow Camp Creek at Site b. This year, no flow was present at this
site on the June through September monthly visits, although Site 6 was flowing
continuously those months. This reduction in flow is due to stream channel infiltration,
evapotranspiration, and the absence of lateral inflow from tributaries to Caw Lamp Creek.
Pater at this site is a MgCaNa-S04 type. The one TDS value of 3652 mg/l for this year is
the highest yet observed.
N PDES Discharge Point 008
pond began to flow are:
1994
1993
1992
1991
1990
1989
1988
The annual average flow Cfrom weekly measurements) since this
= 0.157 cfs
= 0.332 cfs
= 0.132 cfs
= 0.112 cfs
= 0.067 cfs
= 0.108 cfs
= 0.104 (reservoir did naf completely fill until February 25,
1988).
Review of the hydrograph and the above table shows that discharges are less than last year
but greater than the other previous years.
Review of Table 15 shows that water at the 008 site is a MgCa-S04 type- Dete for Site 9
(baseline site) is also supplied on this table to provide data for comparison. Pater
previously sampled et Site 9 was a CaMg-HC03 type. The construction of Pond 008 end
subsequent mining activities above have resulted in increased TDS and sulfate in
comparison to baseline water quality measured et Site 9.
Surface Peter Site Sw-52-12. This site monitors Bond Creek at its confluence rith Fish
Creek. It is monitored May through September on a monthly basis. As was noted also et
11
