Re: Poverty Gulch Project
Dear John:
Please find enclosed a consent form pertaining to the Mollie Kathleen Lode
M.S. No. 8068 and E1 Dorado Lode M.S. No. 8068. We have already obtained
consent from Dennis Lanning to safeguard the mine openings which are located
on these properties. However, we would like to obtain Mollie Kathleen Mining
Company's consent as to the owner /lessor.
As mentioned in my letter of March 18, 1992 to you, the Inactive Mine Program
will probably not safeguard features 350 and 351 this year. Mr. Lanning
stated that he would approve the safeguarding only if it was completed prior
to May 1, 1992. The Inactive Mine Program will not have grant money available
to complete reclamation work until after this date. It is understood that
your consent to conduct safeguarding activities is contingent upon permission
from Mr. Lanning. This is noted in the consent form. Please return the
signed consent form to me at your earliest convenience.
