rJ \
Bill Miller -2-
January 31, 1992
3) In Section 7.C., Pikes Peak Mining Company will require "minimum
limits of $1,000,000.00" on the comprehensive general liability
insurance. Our standard agreement requires a "combined single
limit of $1,000,000.00 ". Is this two different limits of coverage?
4) Also in Section 7.C., does contractual liability insurance insure
for indemnity? Does all comprehensive general liability insurance
include contractual liability?
5) In Section 7.1, what does "All insurance provisions... shall be
endorsed to provide that, with respect to the work to be performed
by Contractor hereunder, the coverages afforded shall be primary in
relation to any other policies carried by Owner..." mean?
6) Are these insurance requirements reasonable and available for
purchase by contractors?
You may recall that I called you last week with a question about all policies
waiving subrogation, so that issue has already been cleared -up.
We appreciate your prompt review of this agreement. our timeframe for this
project is short, so we need to resolve this matter as soon as possible. I
will call you the second week of February to see if we need to meet or if you
prefer to give your comments in writing or by telephone.
Sincerely,
l
Maggie Van Cleef /
Staff Assistant
