This area is a portion of the 8.1-acre of 2001 and 2002 topsoil placement indicated on Map Appendix M- I, of the report. Rule 2.04.13(1)(e): The species, location and number of acres of vegetation planted during that year, including any augmented seeding or cultural practices; and The report is incompliance with this rule. With reference to pages 116 and 117 and Map Appendix L-5 of the report, 0.66 acres (azea 23) were seeded, 12.6 acres (area 25) were reseeded (previously reseeded in 2001), and 4.6 acres (areas 2 and 5). Area 5 is not so indicated on the Map. Rule 2.04.13(1)(1): Location, number of acres and date ofplanting for al! previously revegetated areas. The report is incompliance with this rule. The location and acreages are shown on drawing ofpage 129 (Map Appendix L-5). Rule 2.04.13(2): The permittee may provide additional monitoring information as required by the approved permit. The report is in compliance with this rule. Along with information on flyash disposal as required by the Permit, precipitation data and a comprehensive and complete description of annual vegetation monitoring is provided. This report was reviewed in part by Janet Binns. Her report, 09/03/03, is incorporated herein by reference. I discussed the diversity standard with Mr. MacDonald by telephone on September 10, 2003, and he is aware that a revision to the diversity standard may be appropriate.
