Our comparison of the 1995 map to the
1994 product identified only a few questionable contour differences, none
significant enough to call into question the modeling technique
DRAWINGS DEPICTING CURRENT SITE TOPOGRAPHY AND
SURFACE FEATURES CAN BE FOUND AT THE BACK OF THE
REPORT.
Software Explanation
SOFTDESK/ADCADD SOFTWARE CIVIL/SURVEY, EARTHWORKS
and DIGITAL TERRAINE MODELING were again used to compare the
1994 site elevation data with the 1995 site elevation data. This software
program first calculates the position and elevation of each elevation point and
points along each elevation contour and then generates a computer model
representation of each ground surface. The computer-generated ground
surfaces are used in performing volume calculations and cut/fill calculations.
The average end area method is used in all volume calculations, and the
prismordial grid method is used in all cut/fill calculations.
•
•
AHR-1995 -113- STIPULATION #17
