1.2 Closure/Reclamafion of Robinson Tailings Impoundmeet <br />The Robinson Tailings Impoundment is permanently closed. Areas not previously <br />capped, covered and reclaimed were partially done during 2006. Work on azeas not <br />completed will continue in 2007. As part of closure of this facility, the East Side Channel <br />and 2-Dam Spillway were completed and certified as an Environmental Protection <br />Facility (EPF} during 2006. <br />In addition to capping and cover on Robinson, approximately 144 acres were treated with <br />various levels of limestone and CaO, fertilizer, biosolids, and seeded. In addition, 3 <br />shrubs and 484 trees were transplanted on and adjacent to the tailings impoundment. The <br />tree planting program will continue in 2006 at which time survivability will be evaluated <br />and additional plantings may occur. <br />Additional details are found in the 2006 Revegetation Project Summary and 2006 Tree <br />Planting Projects. These details are being included as Attachments I and II. <br />1.3 Mayflower Decant <br />The Mayflower Tailing Impoundment decant system has been competed as certified in a <br />letter dated October 24, 2006, for drawings submitted January 30, 2006. Final <br />construction photos are being included as Attachment IV. <br />1.4 McNull Waste Dump Re-grading <br />The McNulty Waste Dump was partially re-graded in 2006 utilizing two D-10 Caterpillaz <br />Dozers. Additional work is planned for 2007. <br />1.5 Demolition <br />As part of demolition activities during the 2006 season, the following buildings have <br />been demolished: <br />• Mill Water Tanks <br />• 45 Drive Building and Associated Conveyors <br />• 20,000 Ton Ore Bin <br />• Tai148 Conveyor <br />• Storke Fin Ore Bin and Associated Conveyors <br />• McNulty Pump Station <br />Both scrap metal and copper were recycled for metal recovery. Additional demolition <br />activities are scheduled for 2007. <br />2.0 Other Activities <br />2.1 Biosolids <br />2 <br />
