T <br /> • <br />MIMING <br />EXPLOR~iION <br />ENOIN EE RING <br />TO: National king Coal <br />C <br />J <br />July 5, 1986 <br />OFFICE sD! 1~~-DIIB <br />R[61D ENCE 1a~-D360 <br />SUBJECT: Quarterly Inspection, Huntington Uitch, Second Quarter <br />1988 <br />1) The second quarterly inspection of the Huntington Ditch, King <br />Coal Mine, La Plata County, Colorado was made on June 30, 1988. <br />2) No inspection was possible during the first quarter because <br />cf snow cover. <br />3) The ditch was found *_o be in good condition but does need <br />clearing and maintenance. <br />An inspection was made of the Huntington Ditch on June 30, <br />1988 for evidence of lea::age and damage due to erosion and the <br />effects of ur-derground mining. No such evidence was found. The <br />ditch does need =laaring cf weed and native plant growth and <br />sediment. The purpose of the insr~~ction was to meet requirements <br />established by the Colorado !lined Land Rec~amation Division for <br />gti:arterly inspection cf the Huntington L1LCh. <br />~f <br />E~fed M.
