Site Reclamation Activity <br />April 2002 - March 2003 <br />Page 4 <br />SUNNYSIDE BASIN (CARE EMMAI AREA - Plate No. 2 <br />During the 2002 reporting year, no additional acreage was disturbed <br />or reclaimed. <br />Activity at the site consisted of; <br />1) refilling the area of subsidence over the Lake Emma hole back <br />to grade. The fill material was obtained from the stockpile <br />left for this purpose. <br />Planned activity for 2003 includes; <br />1) final site reclamation provided the area has stabilized. <br />2) monitoring and maintenance of the planted areas. <br />TAILINGS POND No.4 - Plate No. 3 <br />During the 2002 reporting year no additional acreage was disturbed <br />or reclaimed. <br />Activity at this site consisted of; <br />1) usage for containment of material removed from the <br />American Tunnel water treatment settling ponds. <br />2) monitoring and maintenance of the vegetation. This included <br />spreading organic material (steer manure) to enhance <br />vegetation growth and long term health. <br />Planned activity for 2003 includes; <br />1) monitoring and maintenance of the vegetation. <br />2) final reclamation of the site. <br />
