<br />flowing down a leaky casing in the neazby abandoned water well (located about 60 feet <br />away}. Driller reported that water level in abandoned well was about 20 feet higher than <br />in the new Fox Hills well. Decision made by Coors Energy Company to seal the old <br />well. <br />Initial static water level at about 132 feet BGS. Pumped well for about 6 hours at 60 <br />gallons per minute (gpm). At end of pumping, water level was at about 186 feet BGS. <br />Thursday, March 27, 1997 <br />Old water well was sealed and abandoned. <br />' Wall backfilled with sand and fine gravel to a depth of 306 feet BGS. Placed 8-1/2 sacks <br />of Portland type I/II cement with ttemie. Cement mix: 7 gallons per sack. Tremie was <br />left in hole.
