Greystone Development Consultants, Inc. <br />W-9 Deep ground water well located below the sedimentation ponds <br />controlling runoff from Revision Area No. 1. The station was <br />selected to assess effects of mining activities on aquifer quality <br />and level. <br />W-10 Deep ground water well located above the sedimentation ponds <br />controlling the Revision Area No. 1. The objectives of this <br />station ere similar to those of W-9. <br />W-16 Deep ground water well located in the reclaimed area of Barren <br />Ridge. The site was selected to assess the quality and level of <br />water in the reclaimed aquifer. <br />W-17 Deep ground water well located in the mouth of Deep Creek <br />Canyon. The station was selected to monitor water quality and <br />level as pit development took place in the Revision Area No. 2. <br />W-18 Deep ground water well located in the mouth of Deep Creek <br />Canyon. The station was selected for objectives similar to those <br />of W-17. <br />The following sections of this report describe the methods and results <br />of monitoring activities conducted at the Chimney Rock Mine Site. <br />4 <br />
