The station was selected to assess the <br />overall effects of mining on stream quality and flow. <br />DC-1 Deep Creek surface water station located on Deep Creek at <br />Highway 151. The station was selected to assess overall effects <br />of mining the Revision Area No.2 located in the Deep Creek <br />drainage. <br />A-1 Alluvial ground water well located adjacent to Stollsteimer Creek <br />below the surface facilities and the Barren Ridge Area. The site <br />has been monitored for only water levels to assess effects of <br />mining the Herren Ridge Area. <br />W-1 Alluvial ground water well located adjacent to Stollsteimer Creek <br />above the mine facilities. This station was selected to assess <br />alluvial baseline conditions of water quality and level. <br />W-5 Alluvial ground water well located adjacent to Stollsteimer Creek <br />below all mining activities. The station was selected to assess <br />potential effects of mining on the alluvial water quality and level. <br />W-6 Deep ground water well located in the mouth of Deep Creek <br />Canyon. The station was selected to monitor deep aquifer <br />baseline during mining of the Barren Ridge and Revision Area <br />No. 1. <br />W-7 Domestic well located 3/4 mile above mining activities. The <br />station was selected to assess the effects of mining on well water <br />quality. <br />3 <br />
