:-
Annual Report -Deepe Fann Pi[
Permit T~tQ. M-1981-302
acres of woody vegetation which have grown as a result of surface drainage on
the property; filling in small pocket low spots to meet reclamation approved
ground elevations; excavation for approximately 4,000 lineal feet of 8-inch
perforated pipe buried in a french drain fashion for groundwater drainage control
and transporting water below surface to the existing ponds on site; backfill of the
pipeline areas, re-topsoiling of disturbed areas with approximately 6-inches of
topsoil and re-seeding with the approved reclamation seed mix and mulching of
all disturbed areas. Also, included in this project will be the cleaning and clay
lining of an imgation ditch, a portion of which is located within the Deepe Farm
Pit boundaries.
This drainage/reclamation work is scheduled to commence the last week of April
and be completed by late June or early July, 2001. The contractor has been
requested to minimize his areas of disturbance and all areas disturbed during this
project will be re-topsoiled, seeded and mulched, per approved specifications.
Other than the work identified in Items 1 through 3 above, no other work is expected to
occur on the Deepe Farm Pit. However, if we note areas where minimal vegetative cover
is apparent, re-seeding will occur as needed. On-going weed management will also be
undertaken, as appropriate.
We have enclosed a map of the property which indicates the location of the boundaries of
the Deepe Farm Pit parcel, the Fire Camp disturbance area, the areas of backfill to meet
reclamation grades, the location and lengths of perforated pipe installation and the areas
of woody vegetation removal and re-seeding,
