little following recompletion with an initial conductivity of 42,400 in August of 1997 and
November, 1998 reading of 42,300 umhos/cm. Many parameters analyzed for DS-2
indicate higher than normal Dissolution Surface WO, i.e. TDS, bicarbonate and fluoride.
This may be a result of completion activity, or less likely mining activity. See Tables 6-14
and 6-15 for summary of WC! for DS-2 and BG-1.
Water level data collected is similar to other wells completed in these aquifers. An attempt
to drill horizontal production well 2B-5HR in November, 1997 resulted in WL effects. i.e.
dewatering the B-Groove and addition to Dissolution Surface. See Figures 6-11 for plot of
WL for DS-2 and BG-1. The following data summarizes potentiometric WL data
• After Drilling
Completion Effects
Well A uifer 10/1/97 10/2/97 11/20/97 12/16/97 12/1/98
BG-1 B-Groove 484' 483' 489' 489' (-12) 496'
DS-2 Dissolution 521' 521' 506' 509' (-9) 530'
Surface
Summary of Potentiometric Levels and Regional Effects
No WRN mining (including water well pumpage) effects were noted in the shallow aquifer
(Perched) at any of the monitoring locations. Only recompletion effects or extremes in
precipitation were noted. The down-dip and maxi pad wells indicated an upward trend from
1996 - 1998 and the up-dip well trended downward.

71
