However, the Dissolution Surface increased significantly from 1993 - 1996 and <br />trended downward from 1996 through 1998. Although the water level change at the up-dip <br />site was less in 1993-1994 than the down-dip Dissolution well, the response was greater in <br />1995 and 1996 when significant increases were noted. WRN's drilling and mining activities <br />in 1995-1998 were concentrated near the up-dip site and resulted in localized Dissolution <br />Surface WL changes. Adjustment of pumpage rates for cavities #1A, 3A and 4 maintained <br />a general downward water level trend from 1996 - 1998 in the Dissolution Surface aquifer. <br />62 <br />
