Change in Discharge <br />The permittee shall inform the Division (Permits :snd Enforcement <br />Section) in writing of any intent to construct, install, or alter any <br />process, facility, or activity that is likely to result in a new or <br />altered discharge, in and shall furnish the: Division such plans and <br />specifications which the Division deems reasonably necessary to <br />evaluate the effect on the discharge and re:ceivin~; stream. <br />The permittee shall submit this notice within two (2) weeks after <br />making a determination to perform the type of act.vity referred to in <br />the preceding paragraph. Process modifications include, but are not <br />limited to, the introduction of any aew pollutant not previously <br />identified in Lhe permit, or any other modi.ficati~~ns which may result <br />in a discharge of a quantity or quality dii:ferent from that which was <br />evaluated in the drafting of the permit including subsequent <br />amendments. Following such notice, the per:mittee shall be required <br />to submit a new CDPS application and the permit m+iy be modified to • <br />specify and limit any pollutants not previously 1.Lmited, if the new <br />or altered discharge might be inconsistent with the conditions of the <br />ezisting permit. In no case shall the permittee .Cmplement such <br />change without first notifying the Division. <br />2.
