• Water quality data for all wells except MW-8 are shown in summary on Tables 10,
11, 12, and 13. A review of these data as compared to previous monitoring data indicate only
minor changes in water quality parameters.
Well levels for all monitoring wells are summarized on Table 9, with corresponding
well completion data shown on Table 8. These water level data are presented graphically for
the five monitor wells on Figures 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. A review of historic water level data
indicates fluctuating water levels and an overall decrease since the initial monitoring. Most
evident is the dramatic drop in water level at MW-8 following the 4th quarter of 1992; a
result of retreat mining in close proximity to the well. Changing levels in the remaining wells
is probably due to drainage towards the mine workings and responses to precipitation trends.
The approved ground water monitoring program adequately monitors potential impacts
of mining on the ground water system. The data collected through the period of this report
indicate that no significant impacts have occurred as a result of mining.
