Gunnison No. 1 Mine, CMLRD Permit
No. C-007-80.
Dear Matt:
In compliance with Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division
regulation numbers 4.10.2 and 4.05.6 (11) (C), attached are West
Elk Coal Company's first quarter, 1990, pond, stockpile and mine
site inspection reports. Also attached are survey monitoring and
compaction test data for the Lower Refuse Pile.
•
The survey monitoring showed little, if any, movement in the
stations. Monument B-8 which had apparently risen 0.55 feet
between the October and December surveys, probably due to frost
heave, has apparently thawed and settled down 0.46 feet between
the December and March surveys.
Please don't hesitate to contact me or Dennis Conn should you
~_have__an~ questions or wish to discuss the reports or data.
Sincerely,
~/ ~ /' /
Kathleen G.
