1
1
Normal dewatering of Sedimentation Pond MB #2 occurs via an underdrain
system in the bottom of the pond. The underdrain flows into the outlet
control tower of the pond. All discharges from MB #2 occurred through the
normal dewatering outlet at discharge point 004. Analyses, as required
under NP DES Permit CO-0038776, show monitoring results from the discharge
from Sedimentation Pond MB #2 at Outfall 004 and are presented below. No
exceedences of the NPDES effluent limitations occurred during this quarter
from this outfall.
OUTFACE 0041
Parameter Frequency Minimum Average Maximum
Flow Weekly 0.8 MGD --- 1.5 MGD
Total Suspended Solids Monthly --- --- 6.4 MG/L
Total Iron Monthly --- --- 0.34 MG/L
pH Weekly --- --- 7.4 SU
Oil and Grease Weekly ----no visible sheen ----
Conductivity Monthly --- --- 285 umhos/cm
1There was only one week during the quarter during which Sedimentation Pond
MB #2 discharged. Therefore, only one measurement of total suspended solids,
total iron, pH and oil and grease were made.
A-2
